About the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, one of Asia’s leading symphonic ensembles, arrives in Hannover for a special one-night concert presented by Dorn Music. Under the direction of Tarmo Peltokoski, the orchestra will perform a program featuring Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, bringing world-class classical music to the city.

Acclaimed German pianist, praised by The New York Times for his elegance and brilliance. He has performed with leading orchestras including the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic, the Concertgebouworkest, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and regularly collaborates with conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Andris Nelsons, and Tarmo Peltokoski. His recordings have received major international awards, including the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.

He serves as Music Director of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and is Music Director Designate of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He has worked with leading ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Philharmonic Orchestra, and NHK Symphony Orchestra, with a rapidly rising international career across major festivals and opera productions.
